overall looks: maxwell isn't really considered tall for a boy but he likes being how he is. his hair is brown and usually kept short and messy, but not like he was trying to copy edward cullen. but because that has always bee how his hair has behaved. as for the sheppard boy's eyes, they are a cold and icy blue that hardly show any sense of caring in them. they usually hold a glare and only every so often do they have a sense of actual pain or sadness. his lips are always in a smirk or a hard line and every once in awhile someone could bring out the rare smile.
overall style: as for his clothing style, he's the kind of guy that just doesn't really care much of clothes. of course he cares about his appearance because he has to look hot, though in his opinion he could be hot in a potato sack. he's known to wear jeans a random shirt and a leather jacket. he has no real care because his mom hates the fact that he doesn't let her pick out his clothes. so, even though it isn't the coolest of things, he takes pride in how he dresses.
strengths hes pretty good at causing trouble, he always tells what he thinks about you, even if its a bit late. though its rarely seen he can be romantic, when given a chance he can also make for a good friend because when he decides to care, he gets in pretty deep. he's also known to be a bit adventurous when it comes to planning dates and things

narcissistic: ah this boy is definitely a narcissist in a lot of different ways. he thinks all about himself quite often and thinks he's pretty much a god. he's kind of a sexual narcissist in the fact that he feels like he's kind of a god in the sense of how he pleases people. he thinks as if someone's lucky to have him as a sexual partner that they don't really need a relationship from him. he always looks out for himself and cares all about pleasing himself in sexual ways then anything else.
obnoxious: people, consider his ways to be very obnoxious and he won't disagree with you on this matter. he just doesn't really care. he likes being who he is and he doesn't want to change for anyone!! he enjoys all the things he does and sure his flirting and things could be considered obnoxious by a few people, he figures they should deal with it because he's maxwell and he will do what he wants.
rebellious: he is very rebellious when it comes to his mother. he has always rebelled against what she told him because he hated being told what to do. it was why he got into all the trouble he had gotten into and why he is currently drinking. even without his mother being here he's rebelling against the man. or woman? either way he's currently selling things and drinking even more, its a nice feeling to get away with things you do.
opinionated: he isn't afraid to express his opinions but he's not known to do them the right way. he just speaks his mind and if your a dumb bitch he'll let you know. though he does keep it to himself if he's trying to use you for whatever reason, he will tell you the truth when he's finally ready to toss you aside. it'll be in the words he speaks as he breaks up with you. he calls people out on what they are because he doesn't care what they think of him for doing so.he's always been a pretty honest person and he'll be the first to admit he's an ass and he just tends to speak the truth even if its a very harsh truth.
creative sweetheart: at first glance, some may assume this side of maxwell either didn't exist, or was all fake. sometimes it is fake, when he's trying to get into a girls pants but it is real from time to time. though those times were very scarce and has yet to really be seen by anyone. though he has two kind of sweets inside him. there's a sweet he shows only when he's trying to get into someone's pants. tiny dates and what not. though he's a hopeless romantic and he tends to be creative in dates and he also has a really sweet side to him thats only shown to his grandmother
father: his father is kevin sheppard and he's about the age of forty-eight. the job of kevin is he's a ceo of a big company back in san fran. his dad's job is one of the reasons that they moved away to san fran because he was offered a position there and it was too far to drive back and forth. however he worked his way up to ceo and has been for the last five years. his relationship with maxwell has never been the greatest because max just saw him as some weak pansy unable to get away from the woman that made life a living hell for everyone.
mother: angela sheppard is a forty-four year old lawyer in the bright busy city of san fran! her relationship with maxwell was never good and they constantly fight and argue. max likes to push his mothers buttons and she tries to control him. but max is a lot like her in the sense that he likes to be in control of situations and himself and so he doesn't let her have that benefit and she despises him for that.
siblings: he has a twin brother named daniel brewer but he lives in los angeles and maxwell knows nothing about him.
other relatives: there's only one other relative worth mentioning in maxwell's life. his grandmother, maria gonzalez .she's eighty years old and maxwell takes care of her with his parents money. its the least his mother could do sense she never really cared for maria but max loves the woman. she's sweet and charming and though she sometimes forgets him and things, he manages to take good care of him. and sometimes she's herself again and those days makes his heart grow more fond of her.
history: so max's history would start back with how his parents met and it wasn't anything really spectacular. they met at a bar and it was the farthest thing from love at first site. angela kind of interrogated kevin to find out about his life and well he had a good enough one for this woman and so she kind of made him a proposition and he went with it. they only needed one kid but ended up having twins but the choose one and shipped the other off to wherever, they didn't care much. at around five his grandmother marie was thinking of finding max's twin brother but they moved away to san fran.
max was raised by, well it sure wasn't either angela or kevin sheppard. no it was by a nanny but still he was raised in a decently normal. okay no it wasn't normal. he had a nanny until he was about ten and then his mother got rid of her because it was screwing with her image and well angela was pretty much cruel to both maxwell and kevin because everything had to be perfect. she was a heartless perfectionist who got married because she needed the perfect relationship and the perfect family
but they weren't perfect, kevin was a drunk but a rich drunk. not that angela really needed him to survive but she kept him for the same reasons she kept max at first. to make their life seemingly perfect. but when he was twelve he began to rebel as much as he possibly could because it was damn well fun. he stopped wearing the clothes is mother bought him and instead bought what he wanted. jeans, white shirts and leather jackets. he almost looked like some crazy freak and it pissed her off and he loved it.
when he was thirteen he met a girl who was kind of sweet almost like a sandy/danny thing but it was different. he wasn't about to change from his seemingly player ways and when he got her in bed and really did lose his virginity he didn't stop after that. he got into alcohol and parties and had sex quite a bit. sometimes even in his mother's bed. he knew his parents sure the fuck didn't have sex in there anymore. angela wanted one kid and she had him, even if he was a fuck up.
when he was sixteen he began to go to his grandmother's during the summer, because she promised to not speak of his brother. he started dipping in the alcohol because his grandmother didn't pay much attention and she had a room full of that stuff. about a year ago though, his grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and alzheimer's. so he moved in to help her because she can't be alone for too long and so he spends a lot of his time with her. he goes to school w hen he can but tends to do a lot of his work online because leaving the house isn't always the smartest thing.
secret life: now maxwell is known to be a total jerk and a complete asshole. he's all fine and dandy with people thinking about him in that way. you would think he'd hate having so many enemies but he likes living his life with people not liking him. so the boy just acts like a total jerk and drinks the days away but there's a secret that he keeps to himself like everyone here does.
what would that secret be? that mister maxwell sheppard is a total sweetheart and a hopeless romantic. no one really sees this side of him unless he's trying to get in their pants. and they usually chalk it up as an act because it usually is. but he is sweet when he wants to be and if he's being honestly sweet you'd just know. there'd be a different look in the sheppard boy's eyes and he'd just be being himself for a change. so far only his grandmother sees this side of him and he's okay with that.
past relationships: maxwell's past relationships were all about sex sex and more sex. he likes living his life the way he has been. one night stands and lots of them. though he has dated a few girls because they were 'innocent' and he needed to work at it and he was very successful.
current relationships: right now he has done nothing more than a few one night stands. he isn't in the mood for a chase because he just doesn't have the time.
friendships: max and friends aren't the greatest of things and they don't really exist. he just doesn't really like people a lot and he doesn't care for them and he doesn't keep it a secret. so he doesn't make many friends.
enemies: enemies and max are a word that says a lot about him. he has tons of these beautiful things back in san fran but he hasn't really been here long enough to make them. a year is just a short amount of time and he's usually too busy with his grandmother to go meet people for them to be enemies.

max didn't really enjoy this stupid island and school and he didn't get why his mother had to be such a controlling bitch. he was eighteen and his life was supposed to be his but here he was stuck on a fucking island for the mental. he never touched his mother and he didn't really belong here. alcoholism might be a problem and it was something that needed to be cured but max wasn't an alcoholic. or not according to himself anyway. he was damn maxwell ralph sheppard and he liked to drink and it wasn't a problem. okay so it was a bit of a problem. more than he ever realized but it didn't matter to him. it might be illegal but it was his fucking life and his mother shouldn't have called the damn cops and lied. but whatever, he was here and now and he was making the best of it. it wasn't easy to get alcohol on this damn island but he was rich enough to weazle his butt into the inside and bribe some people.
but right now he was out and waiting for a new bottle so he needed something to do and kind of hoped someone out here was as resourceful as he was. though he was pretty sure there wasn't anyone as resourceful as he was.he was full of himself and so even though he hoped, he knew it wasn't going to happen. though there was something that he never expected to happen and that was to see his little grasshopper here on this island. though as he made his way to the lake, a place that seemed nice enough to sit and relax, he saw the familiar girl.
he knew a lot about her and they bonded back at the old place for the mental he was at. though he was kind of glad to be gone from there and from her. he didn't care about her..or thats what he was trying to tell himself anyway. the problem is, he did care and though he didn't want to, there was a part of him that was happy too see her. hearing her words made the boy smirk and he already knew what to say as he approached her.
