history:
Ahri was born into a big happy family. they all lived on her u-li:si's farm Her mother and father were childhood friends who slowly fell in love. they were happy, ahri's mother was an art teacher, and her father on the oil rigs. It suported them easily, and even though their grandmother didn't take the money to help pay bills. Ahri had an older sister, and not long after she was born did she have a little brother. she grew older, learning different things, such as how to weave, pain, clense rooms. She even started taking care of her little brother. Leah was less interested in their life on the farm, dreaming of the city. Leaving most of the attention towards Ahri. She often went camping with her father and mother, enjoying the wild-life. though they never went too far from the farm. Ahri was raised on a everything happens for a reason bases. And it was a good way to live.
but when tragedy struck, and her father was killed on the oil rigs, their family grew weary of life. Ahri watched as her mother, only 35 was widowed. losing her father only at the age of seven was a hard thing, and she tried hard to make her mother happy. Money became a problem, leaving Leah and her expensive life to throw a fit. Ahri's mother had lost her way, quiting her job as an art teacher. It seemed to get better for the rest of the family once Daniel bumped into her mothers life. Her mother went head over heals for him. Party in desperat desire. Daniel was charming, and thought Raleigh to be a good choice. He swepter her off her feet, and swept the rest of the family away, leaving ahri's grandmother behind.
Daniel had a great distatse for the old womans free spirit, and shunned her from the family. forbidding his June from ever seeing her. ahri was outraged, and foolishly spoke her mind to him. she did it often in fact, not caring what he thought. Her family had changed, and she hated it, she wasn;t happy that her mother remarried so quickly. During fancy dinner parties, while everyone wore dresses or suits, ahri stood there, in paint covered jeans, hindreds of bracelets, and crazy hair colors. daniel was fed up with her attitude. seeing the free spirit her grandmother had. He often locked her away in her room.
When ahri was thirteen she pulled the last cord. Daniel had invited an important client over, and ahri being the trouble maker, lit some lavender, spreading it around the house, and running in circles around the guests chanting a cherokee paryer. She scream "Begone you filthy demons!' at the guests and threw white paint onto them. The clients went home outraged. and she faced the same rath from Daniel. with a final word, Ahri was sent from L.A back to her grandmothers farm.
The young girl was sad, that her mother could shun her so easily, but happy that she was back in her hjome. the hoe she loved. she helped her grandmother around the house, attended school, and lived as she used to. Her grandmother was sad that her own daughter had turned so rotten, but new it would take time to heal Rayleigh's wounded heart.
It was a happy two years for ahri, but halfway during her fourteenth summer, Ahri's grandmother got stuck in a nasty storm. She was on her way home when the car hit her own. she tumbled off a bridge and before Ahri knew it her happy life was over. A simple phone call told Ahri of her grandmothers death. and in fear of returning to her mother and step father, or worse, in fostercare, Ahri fled. she found what money she could, as many irtems of ietm she could, her art supplies, and what other few valuables she could find. She left for the woods and camped out for a few days, watching her grandmothers farm in a distance. she saw a car arrrive, it stayed for awhile before driving off. She then went through her grandma's feild, and picking what she could of the lavender. she packed it away along with some cat food for her cats.
It took Ahri awhile to get used to traveling, but she payed attention to the survival tips she had been taught. She found a small abandoned house in down and picked a room, creating her own sanctuary in it, and decorating it how she could. She went to local pools and snuck in, using the showers, and brushing her teeth. Often times she;d run into their homeless kids, and invite them to stay in her house. And the did. she mad friends, some left, some stayed. a few of her close friends had been killed before. It was trouble at night, no matter where you lived. when it was time to go to school she went, acting as if nothing happened, and it seemed as if no one knew.
secret life: Ahri acts like any m=normal rebelling teenager, dressing in the scene fashion, and acting silly as ever. though not one single person knows who she really is,. Though she is happy to others, on the inside she is sad. she doesn't know what to do with her life. she has a big secret she keeps from everyone.
Ahri, is in fact homeless. she lives in an old abandoned house, with her two cats. when she is hungry, she sells her art, or she steals from somewhere. she hates to do it, but does when she must. she forbids herself from sinking to a level of eating from trash. she stays away from making good friends, and pretends to be perfectly happy.
past relationships: She has never dated, and is clueless about anything relationship-wise.
current relationships: she doesn't understand relationships.
friendships: she has friends of local homeless kids, but never gets attached to anyone. she talks to many people at school, but is never anything more than a friendly face.
enemies: Anyone who hates her attitude, but she doesn't acknowledge it, she hates violence.
welcome to a beautiful life Marcie. we are glad to have you! i'd like to start of by telling you i am a dudette. i have been roleplaying for 5 years and i generally throw a 500 word your way in a thread. i found this place I know the admins(: and happy to be here! one last thing...i am from central time so i wont always be online.. on my behalf i must tell you I like turtles c: and i'm excited to rp here and get to know my fellow roleplayers! here is a sample of what i can do:
A soft breeze swooped into the small attack, and Ahri held back a shiver. she stared intently at the canvas in front of her. Moving her brush in rhythmic patterns. she hummed softly allowing her mind to take over. she paid no attention to the strokes of her brush. She just painted. The light colors of the paint slid down the painting. An artist worked best when they didn't think about the piece. It always had the best outcome. She smiled softly to herself and eyed the painting before looking away. She dipped her brush into the dull water color paint she had set out before, mixing it around. She once again paid no attention to her painting, as she pressed the brush against the canvas.
"Never over think it my dove. you must go with the spirit inside. Paint the colors of the wind." a small smile spread across the young girl as she remembered the words her grandmother spoke to her. she could hear the old woman's laugh as if she was there. A ping of sadness filled Ahri's heart, but like always the girl ignored it. She felt at peace here, sitting and painting. The soft mews of her cats in the background. It was perfect, until a sudden clap filled the air. Ahri's brush stopped moving and she shivered. Opening her eyes. She hadn't noticed the flashing before, for her eyes were closed. Now though, she saw them, and almost every flash was followed by a clap of noise. Ahri's lip trembled and she set aside her things, moving to the window. she closed it and shut the curtain. She moved all over the ceiling checking for possible leaks, setting up buckets for ones she did find. It seemed the wind picked up, and it finally started to rain.
Ahri finalized everything by grabbing her cats and pulling them to the old bed she slept on. She covered them and herself with a blanket, hiding her head. Oh how the young one hated storms. She missed being held by her grandmother as she sang a lullaby into her ear. Tears prickled her eyes and she hugged her babies close to her. She slowly began to hum, remembering the tune of her grandmothers lullaby, and soon she sang herself into a slumber.
